Mouse Bioinformatics Research Network

(Mouse BIRN)

A team of researchers at four institutions is studying animal models of disease at different anatomical scales to test hypotheses associated with human neurological disorders. The aim of the Mouse BIRN is to share and analyze multi-scale structural and functional data and ultimately to integrate them with genomic and gene expression data on the mouse brain. The BIRN infrastructure is being constructed to substantively enhance the productivity of three ongoing collaborations in basic mouse models of neurological disorders.
